Elise Brennan

Elise is a UCD B.A. Honours Graduate in Drama and English of two years where she was awarded with the B.O.I.’s Millennium Scholars Trust Fund Creative Arts Scholarship in 2009. Since then Elise has been working in the professional working field as a full time performer and is represented in Ireland and the UK by JSD Agency and Philippa Stapleton Agency.

As a highly acclaimed Actor, Dancer and Singer, Elise has recently featured in many Film and TV credits such as 'The Late Late Show', 'Dead Man's Hand', AF Productions Dragonfly Web series, RTÉ’s Republic of Telly, BBC’s Ripper Street with Charlene McKenna and alongside Gabriel Byrne in the History Channel’s Vikings and RTÉ’s Quirke. Theatre credits include an astonishing performance as Salome in Salome with Splódar Theatre Company and due to popular demand an extended nationwide tour was produced in 2012. Other theatre credits include Tit for Tats production of Three Cities where Elise played the role of Ashlee featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, 2012 and Agnes in Agnes of God under the direction of Kathleen W. Yeates at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin.

Her education and training went beyond UCD as she has worked with renowned acting coaches and casting agents worldwide such as David Switzer’s Acting for Camera at Sears and Switzers Studio in Toronto, Kathleen Yeates Advanced Actor Program at the Abbey School of Music and Drama in Dublin and the Urdang Academy in London, UK under the direction of Jeremy Powell and Laurann Brown.

Elise broke the barriers with Irelands freshest girl group Rouges as she became the bands first member in 2012. Drawing influences from artists such as Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys and the Sapphires, Rouges have incorporated the best of old school funk, Motown and Jazz and currently have thousands of followers throughout Ireland and the UK having reached no.4 in the iTunes Charts with their EP Lift Me Up and supporting The Saturdays at the Bord Gáis Theatre.n nElise’s blend of experience and talent encouraged her to set up her own society during her studies at UCD where she became Founder and Auditor of the UCD Dance Society in 2011/12 – A home to 25,000 students. The society was awarded ‘Society of the year’ and ‘Event of the Year’ in its first year running.

Elise is a qualified Dance and Drama freelance instructor that has led her to choreograph and manage her own professional dance troupes for corporate, weddings and club events. Dance and modeling credits include RTÉ’s Off the Rails, Up and Close and Personal, TV3’s Ireland AM Bollywood and Halloween Specials, Ek Tha Tiger Blockbuster Movie, Hey Sailor MAC Spring Collection, DAA Duty Free Launch Dublin Airport and MTV UK’s Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project.
She has been director of movement for many tv and film productions such as 'All is by my side', 'Quirke' and 'Vikings'.
Elise resided in Brooklyn, New York over the last few months and continued her professional work and experience in the artist industry. She is now currently based in Dublin.
